As a member of the Big Lots Rewards program, members must provide card, phone number, email address, or be logged in to your online account for each qualifying purchase. Members must have a valid email address associated their account to receive rewards.
1. Every three Qualifying Purchases within a rolling 12 month period qualifies Members for a Reward. Qualifying Purchase includes in store and online purchase transactions and does not include returns, purchase of gift cards, rentals or donations. Members may earn one purchase, per day, per store. Redemption restrictions may apply.
2. “Furniture Qualifying Purchase” includes purchase of indoor furniture, patio furniture, gazebos and umbrellas. Returns are excluded. Members will earn a $10 reward for every $200 spent on a single Furniture Qualifying Purchase. Furniture Qualifying Purchase is calculated per transaction. Members may not earn more than a $50 reward per transaction (maximum $1000.00 Qualifying Purchase) or within a 7 day period (Sun-Sat). Redemption restrictions may apply.
3. Birthday surprise available to Members who provide valid birth month in their online Rewards account. Members are awarded one birthday offer per 12 month period. Members must visit www.biglots.com/rewards to participate.

Yes! You can use multiple Rewards offers in the same transaction. You are limited to 2 total discounts for online purchases.
Please note when combining Rewards with other Rewards or coupons, % off rewards/coupons are always applied first, so 2nd discount will be applied to the reduced balance. For $ off rewards/coupons, each coupon scanned will reduce the balance to be applied to the next offer, so minimum spend thresholds apply for each scan.
Yes! Redeem a Reward on a qualifying purchase does count, and you’re now only 2 transactions away from your next reward!
You cannot share your Rewards, as it can only be redeemed using your Rewards card or log-in credentials in your online account. Your Reward can only be used a single time.
Rewards are valid 17 days from date they are issued to your account. We've extended the time you can redeem Rewards to 3 full weekends! Please refer to your reward for specifics.
Yes! Once you take delivery, you've earned another qualifying purchase.

A qualifying purchase is any purchase made in store or online* excluding gift card, rentals and donations. When shopping in store, you need to present your card (or look up account) at check-out. When shopping online*, just make sure you are logged into your account to earn rewards.
*Online purchases will post to Rewards account after they ship.
No, it does not. If a partial return, i.e. where additional merchandise is purchased within the same transaction and the total transaction amount is greater than $0, then it could apply.
Yes, qualifying purchases expire after 12 months if not applied toward an offer.

Yes! Shop in store and online in the same day to earn 2 qualified purchases in a day!
Yes, login to your account and click the “Enter Previous Receipts” link, then follow the prompts. You have 30 days to link a transaction to your account. You may also contact Big Lots Customer Care for assistance.
We’d love for you to shop with us more frequently! You can receive one $5 Reward per week. If you shop more during a week, any additional qualifying purchases and subsequent earned Rewards will carry over into future weeks for up to 12 months. For example, if you make 9 qualified purchases in one week (Sunday - Saturday), you will receive one reward per week for the next 3 weeks.
Simply log into your online account at biglots.com/rewards and go to "View Rewards Status" to check your earning status. Qualifying purchases refresh daily, so check back frequently.
A pending Reward is one that has been earned, but not yet issued. If you've earned 3 Rewards, you will see a Reward as pending in your account until the offer is issued. Once the Reward has been issued to your account, you'll receive notification of the offer via email. Big Lots issues Rewards every Friday to eligible members. If you've earned more than 1 Reward, you will see multiple pending Rewards.
Furniture Bonus Questions
Any in store or online qualifying purchase (counts when shipped for online purchase) of indoor furniture (sofas, loveseats, recliners, dining room, bedroom furniture, mattresses), as well as patio furniture, gazebos, and umbrellas.
A member can earn $10 (purchase between $200-$399.99), $20 (purchase between $400-$599.99), $30 (purchase between $600-$799.99), $40 (purchase between $800-$999.99) and $50 (purchase $1,000+). $50 is the maximum Furniture Bonus Reward that can be earned for a single qualifying purchase.

It is calculated based on net purchase amount (before tax and shipping, and after sale and other discounts). It is calculated on a per transaction basis. If your net purchase is $200 or over, that is considered a qualified purchase.
No. The Furniture Bonus Reward is calculated on a per transaction basis and has no carry-forward value.
You can earn up to $50 from a furniture bonus with each transaction ($50 = $1,000+ qualifying purchase) and a limit of 1 furniture bonus per week (Saturday - Sunday).
Yes! After a qualifying purchase, you’re only 2 transactions away from a $5 reward!
If more than one qualifying furniture purchase is made during a week (Sun-Sat), we will sum the total value for the week (each purchase must be greater than $200). For example, you make a $250 furniture purchase on Wed. and another $400 purchase on Friday, you would earn a $30 Furniture Bonus Reward based on your $600 purchase. Purchases that fall outside this 7-day window are considered on a per transaction basis only. Purchases less than $200 do not qualify.
To be eligible for the BIG Furniture Bonus offers, Furniture purchases must be linked to your BIG Rewards account, at the time of the transaction. Please present your BIG Rewards card, or provide your email address to the cashier at the time of your purchase.
Birthday Surprise Questions
Access your online account at www.biglots.com/rewards, click on “Edit Profile”, and provide your birth month and day. Unfortunately, we can't accept birthday information at checkout.
If we told you, it wouldn’t be a surprise! We can tell you that you can use it in store or online.
Your Birthday Surprise will be emailed to the email address we have on file for you.
We send all Birthday Surprise emails around the 1st of the month on which your birthday falls. For example, all members who have a birthday in July will be send an email in the 1st week of July.
Unfortunately, since all offers are sent during the 1st week of the month, we currently cannot send offers out to members who sign up later in the month.
