ELIGIBILITY: The Big Lots Flat Panel TV Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (“PT”) on September 10, 2007 and ends at 11:59:00 p.m. PT on October 14, 2007 (“Sweepstakes Entry Period”). Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of California who are 18 years of age or older with a valid email address at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, Ventura Associates, Inc., SBC Advertising, LTD., Fleishman Hillard International Communications, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, promotion and advertising agencies, and the immediate families and household members of each of the above are not eligible to enter or win. In the event that the Sweepstakes is challenged by any regulatory authority, Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Sweepstakes or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such an event, Sponsor shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to any such action.

HOW TO ENTER: Visit
www.BigLots.com/lcdtv during the Sweepstakes Entry Period and follow all entry instructions to complete and submit the online entry. All entries must be received by 11:59:00 p.m. PT on October 14, 2007. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the privacy policy listed on www.biglots.com.
Limit: One (1) entry per person or e-mail address. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries are eligible. Mass entries or entries generated by script, macro or use of automatic devices will be disqualified. All entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Incomplete entries are void and automatically disqualified.
PRIZES: PRIZES: One (1) winner – Winner will receive a 32” flat panel television – (Approximate retail value: $549). The approximate retail value of all prizes guaranteed to be awarded: $549.00.
ODDS of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.
DRAWING: Winner will be determined in a random drawing on or about October 24, 2007. Drawing will be conducted by VENTURA ASSOCIATES, INC., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Potential winner will be notified by email and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where permissible) within 14 days of date printed on the notification. Failure to comply within this time period, if any prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, will result in the corresponding prize being forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. All taxes on prize are the winner’s responsibility.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Entry in the Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other promotion of the Sponsor. Entrants must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. No cash value, transfer or other substitution of prize allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and advisers and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and representatives of each (collectively, the “Releasees”) are not responsible or liable for lost, late, or misdirected entries, computer, online, telephone, cable, electronic, software, hardware, transmission, connection, Internet, website, accessibility, or other access issues that might hinder the ability of a participant to enter the Sweepstakes. No liability is assumed for any human error that may occur in the receipt or processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot be implemented due to delays or interruptions caused by acts of war, natural disasters, weather, utility outages or acts of terrorism. Releasees are not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation mechanical, human, printing, distribution or production errors. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to (i) release and hold Releasees free and harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or misuse of any prize; (ii) be bound by these Official Rules and (iii) permit (except where prohibited by law) Sponsor and any entities affiliated with Sponsor the opportunity and right to film, videotape, record and photograph the winner and to use winner’s name, prize won, hometown, likeness and/or comments about winning for purposes of online posting, advertising, promotion and publicity in any media without additional compensation. All taxes, including but not limited to sales and income tax on prize, and all fees, and other charges not specifically specified herein are winner’s responsibility. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS: In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The
"authorized account holder” is the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Releasees are neither responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation of transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or failure of e-mail on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any web-site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail; nor for other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes, even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. In the event the Sweepstakes is, in the opinion of Sponsor, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes from point of impairment, and select the winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.
LEGAL WARNING: Any attempt to deliberately damage any on-line entry or web site or to undermine the legitimate operations of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal & civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify such entrant & seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
