He brings nearly two decades of merchandise experience and leadership to his role, including his background as the former owner/operator of a small closeout chain in Chicago and executive positions with closeout retailers.

Dewayne Tanner coordinates the logistics of BLC purchases of all sizes. As a former District Operations Manager for Big Lots, he has two decades of experience on the operations side of the business where he implemented the chain's new freight processing system for nearly 1400 stores. He also manages reverse logistics deals and sources to acquire closeouts for Big Lots Capital.
