Congratulations To The Winners Of Our 2011 Lots2Give Video Contest!
View the winning videos below.
At Big Lots, we are committed to programs that enhance the quality of education at schools in need of financial support in the communities we serve. For the fourth year in a row, the Lots2Give program continues this mission.
We asked participating schools to put their creativity to the test by submitting a short video and brief essay explaining why their school is in need of financial support. These videos were posted online June 6 through July 4, 2011 for public voting. Votes were cast to determine the 35 winners below, which include thirty $2,000 second place prizes, four $5,000 first place prizes and one $20,000 grand prize – our biggest ever!
In addition to the video contest, Big Lots collected in-store donations to help schools participating in the 2011 Lots2Give program. Thanks to the generosity of the public, this initiative raised thousands of dollars! See the complete list of participating schools.
Special thanks to all Lots2Give participants and the thousands of people who voted!

The Zebra Music Family
The Wayne Memorial music program is more than a program; it is a family. This family fulfills so many of our students’ needs that it really is the pride of Wayne Memorial High School. Currently, the resources we can provide cannot match the program’s tremendous growth. If awarded this money, we would use it to purchase more uniforms, instruments, storage space, and choir risers. We know our music program could meet all of the needs of our students with these additional funds.
