Eddie Burt

Eddie Burt is a retail supply chain veteran with over 30-years of experience in progressively larger and diverse roles. Beyond supply chain, his experience includes time leading merchandising, human resources, loss prevention, and real estate operations.

Currently, Burt leads the supply chain for Big Lots. He is responsible for all aspects of product movement from vendor to store and company in-stocks (distribution, transportation, merchandise planning and replenishment, and eCommerce fulfillment).

Before joining Big Lots, Burt served as executive vice president of merchandising and supply chain for GNC. His experience spans across successful retailers including The Home Dept, PetSmart, and over sixteen years with Target Corporation.

Burt has a demonstrated track record of developing business strategies to achieve results through creating effective teams focused on operational excellence.

This operational excellence has earned him honors in Black Enterprise’s 100 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America for the years of 2012 & 2017.
