What is the Price Hold program?
Price Hold is a program that allows our shoppers to hold the current price of an item when an item is out of stock, or you cannot pay for that item in full. We will hold that price until the item is either re-stocked and delivered to the store, or you have paid the proper amount in order to purchase it. Once you are within two weeks of paying off the Price Hold, we will have you contact the store to verify that the merchandise will be available when you plan to pick it up. How do I add items to my cart?
To add items to your cart, simply browse any of our products online. Once you find a product or products that you love, select the quantity you would like to buy, click on the "add to cart" button and you’re all set!

To view your cart, click on the shopping cart icon located in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. All of the items you have added to your cart will appear on this page. Once you have finished your online shopping, you can checkout right from your shopping cart.

If you need to return an item that you purchased in store and it has been assembled, you can simply return it into any Big Lots store. Some assembled items do not require their original packaging but must have a proof of purchase to return them. How do I return an item greater than 70 lbs.?

Can I exchange items bought on the website?
If you purchased an item online and would like to exchange it, please bring that item into a Big Lots store. We cannot accept or process exchanges by mail. Exchanges will be made only if an item identical to what you originally purchased is available, and at a lower or original cost at the time of the exchange.
Can I return a gift that was bought for me on biglots.com?
If you received an item from biglots.com as a gift and wish to return it back through the mail, a refund will be issued back to the original source of payment (i.e., the credit card that was used by the person who purchased the gift). If you wish to return the gift you received into a store, a refund will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit (Big Lots gift card) which is valid for in-store use only.

When ordering items off of our website there are three shipping options:

Big Lots uses Ground and Express shipping options to meet your service level. If you package is a lower weight, our carrier will team up with the United States Postal Service (USPS), and your local Post Office will complete your delivery.
What does estimated delivery date mean?
There are two types of estimated delivery dates.
1. Up to the point that your order is fulfilled, we will provide an estimated delivery date range that includes processing and transportation time.
2. Once we have processed your order, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email that includes a tracking number. Clicking this tracking link will bring up an updated estimated delivery date along with tracking details.
When can I expect my order to arrive
You will receive a date range for each shipping option during checkout prior to completing your order. After the order is placed, it will take 1-3 business days to process the order before you receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Can I change my shipping option after my order is placed?

How will I know my shipping charges?

Why do carriers label a package as undeliverable?
Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable if an address is incorrect, if there is an address or label format issue, or if there have been failed delivery attempts.
What happens if the carrier cannot deliver the order and it becomes an "undeliverable package"?
Should the carrier return an undeliverable package, you will receive a notification by email and be issued a full refund that includes the shipping charges. Big Lots will not re-ship the order, but you can place another order with the new address if the item(s) are in stock.
What is Big! Delivery?

Where do we ship?
Big Lots ships to residential and business street addresses within the 48 contiguous states. Big Lots does not currently ship to Alaska and Hawaii and we do not ship to P.O. boxes.

At this time, there are no eligible Tax Exempt items allowable for online purchases. With the proper documentation and identification, Tax Exempt purchases are available in stores.
What forms of payment do you accept online?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover for online purchases. At this time we do not accept paypal, bitcoin or google wallet for online purchases.
What forms of payment do you accept In-store?
We accept cash, checks, gift cards, merchandise cards, EBT/ SNAP (at select stores), Visa, Mastercard, Big Lots Credit Card, American Express, Discover, and Apple pay for in-store purchases.
How many days do I have to pick up my order in store?
Two full business days after the Ready for Pick up email has been sent. You can view orders along with store information from your Order History.
Can I sign up for text messages letting me know my order is ready for pick up?
While this service hasn’t yet launched, we promise good things are coming.
Can I pick up my order the same day?
Yes, orders placed before 5 p.m. can usually be picked up the same day. Always wait to receive the Ready for Pick up email before heading to your store.
How do I cancel my Pick up In Store order?
Your order will be cancelled if it has not been picked up within two full business days after the Ready for Pick up email is sent. You will not be charged for these items and will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
What happens if I don’t pick up my order?

Can I change my pick up location after placing a Pick up In Store order?

Can someone else pick up my order for me?
Yes, you can set an alternate pick up person while checking out. Please note that this cannot be done once your order has been placed.
What do I need to bring to pick up my order?
You will need the Ready for Pick up email (shown on your phone or printed) along with a government issued photo ID.
How do I pick up my order once I arrive at the store?
See a cashier who will scan the order barcode found in the Ready for Pick up email (shown on your phone or printed). After showing your government issued photo ID, the cashier will retrieve your items and you’ll be on your way.

What is Same Day Delivery?
Same Day Delivery features same day delivery of your items, scheduled at your convenience and delivered from your local Big Lots stores. Delivery is available 7 days a week for everything from small household essentials to furniture and more. You can Choose from two-hour delivery windows for all in stock items. Orders received prior to 2pm local time will be eligible for same-day delivery. Orders received after 2pm local time will be eligible for next day delivery. Same Day Delivery on BigLots.com is available from most Big Lots stores. However, there are some areas where availability is limited or not yet available. Hours and delivery windows vary by store. If you don’t see your local store, please check back soon on BigLots.com since new stores will be added in the future.

We're working with PICKUP’s Delivery Pros who are composed of a fully vetted network of independent contractors from your local community. Delivery Pros undergo a comprehensive background check and onboarding to ensure a safe and reliable delivery experience.
How do I schedule my delivery?
You can schedule delivery on BigLots.com as soon as same day, or later in the week – it’s your choice! Delivery availability and windows vary by market and store, and are subject to store operating hours including holidays. You will receive updates as your delivery progresses.
What if there are no delivery windows available?
Sometimes delivery windows may not be available due to high demand. If you are unable to find a window that works, we recommend checking back frequently or selecting from available windows. We are constantly adding available delivery windows.
What will the Delivery Pro present to the store when picking up items?
The customer’s name, order details and order # will be presented in the Delivery Pro’s mobile app.
What items can I order using Same Day Delivery?
Almost anything in stock in your local Big Lots store can be delivered. This includes household essentials, groceries, apparel, footwear, electronics, kids, toys, pet supplies, personal care, holiday, seasonal, bed & bath, home décor, home storage, furniture and mattresses.
Is there anything Big Lots does not deliver same day or require special handling?
Some items, such as large gazebos, require special handling. Once you place your order, our Success Team will contact you to gather more details based on the specialty items. Customers can contact PICKUP at 877-244-5087 for more information about specialty items.
What does Same Day Delivery include?
Everything from small household essentials to furniture and more. For Large furniture items, enjoy in-home delivery to the room of your choice. Should you prefer contactless delivery, you can specify those instructions to the delivery driver when they contact you to confirm your delivery. For all other deliveries, we’re providing contactless delivery to a location of your choice (garage, patio, front door).
When is Same Day Delivery available?
Same Day Delivery is available 7 days a week during store hours. Hours and availability may vary by location. Customers can visit biglots.com for the latest information on store hours and coverage.
How do I request assembly of my items?
Big Lots does not offer assembly services at this time.
How do I request haul-away of my old items?
Haul-away is only available for items ordered with Big Delivery! "white glove" service.
California Residents: If you purchased a mattress, boxspring, foundation or futon, you are eligible to request free curbside haul-away of the same quantity of your old like-items. Click here to request free haul-away.
What do the Delivery Pros do to protect furniture?
Delivery Pros will inspect and secure all furniture and extra-large items for transport with tie-down straps, blankets and stretch wrap.
What does Same Day Delivery cost?
Please refer to pricing on BigLots.com by adding items the delivery details to your basket. The delivery cost will be presented prior to placing your order.
Who can I contact if these is an issue with my delivery?

What happens if I need to cancel my delivery?
To request a cancellation, please call PICKUP at 877-244-5087 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and a Delivery Success Specialist will be able to assist you. Cancellation fees may apply.
What happens if I need to return an item?
If you need to return an item, please contact your local Big Lots store where they can assist you with next steps and proceeding with the return.
What happens if I need to modify my same day/delivery from store order
Unfortunately, once a Buy Online Pick Up in Store, Deliver From Store, or Ship From Store order is placed, there is not currently a way to modify the associated information. Please ensure your order details are correct prior to placing your order online.
What happens if I need to Change Delivery Details or Reschedule a Same Day/Delivery from Store Order?

What happens if my card gets declined?
The order will be cancelled to protect customer information. A new order can be placed on Biglots.com.
What precautions are Delivery Pros taking to ensure a safe delivery?
Delivery Pros are encouraged to follow safety precautions with company-issued PPE including masks, nitrile-coated gloves, hand sanitizer while practicing social distancing. We also offer optional signature-free, contactless delivery with a clean delivery from the store to your door with your items delivered in dedicated vehicles. How do I tip Delivery Pros?
Tipping is optional and always sincerely appreciated by the Delivery Pros. Once your delivery is complete, you’ll receive an email and a SMS/text message with a link to tip your Delivery Pros.
Does the customer need to be present at the store in order to accept my order?
The customer is not required to be present at the store. The Delivery Pro will do all the work. For furniture and larger items, your Delivery Pro will contact you prior to arrival to confirm order details and any special instructions/accommodations.
How can I prepare for my furniture delivery?
To better prepare for your delivery, we’ve provided a few tips for furniture delivery: 1) Your Delivery Pro will contact you prior to arrival at the store to introduce himself and confirm your order details. 2) Please be sure that the path to the street-level delivery location is clear before your Delivery Pro arrives.
How can I provide feedback about my delivery?
Once your delivery is complete, you’ll receive an email and text message with a survey link to share feedback about your delivery experience. We appreciate any and all feedback!
What happens when some of the items I ordered are not available?
If an item you ordered is unavailable at the store, it will be removed from your order. You will receive a follow-up email from Big Lots informing you which items are unavailable. If this impacts your decision to proceed with the order or delivery, please contact PICKUP at 877-244-5087 and a Customer Success Specialist will be able to assist you.
Can I share my Rewards or use them more than once?
Sorry, a Reward can only be used one time. You can’t share your Rewards, as they can only be redeemed using your Rewards card or your login credentials for your online account.

Do I still earn a Reward when I redeem a Reward?
YOU BET! Redeeming a Reward on a qualifying purchase counts toward earning your next Reward.
What is a credit card authorization hold?
In order to reserve your items, Big Lots authorizes a hold of funds on the customer’s credit card at the time of purchase. Once your items have been picked up by your Delivery Pro, the hold will be released. If your order is not completed for some reason, the hold will also be released. Please note, this may take up to 3 days.
Buy 3 Times, Get a $5 Reward: What is the actual Reward?
The current Reward includes a choice of either $5 off a $15 purchase OR $15 off a $75 purchase. Plus, when you make a qualifying purchase using a Reward, you earn another Reward. You can also combine your Rewards with other Rewards and coupon offers, too!
I got a Reward coupon through email, but I can’t read the code. What should I do?
To view your current offers and promotions, visit the My Big Rewards & Offers page. These Rewards can be viewed from your mobile phone or can be printed from a computer. If you’re unable to scan the coupon bar code while visiting a store, a cashier can key in the bar code number to apply the discount.
Can I add my BIG Rewards card to my Apple Wallet or Android Wallet?
Yes. This is a super-cool feature for quick access to your card from your phone. Once you join BIG Rewards, you’ll see a mobile wallet link at the bottom of your Big Rewards emails to add your card to your mobile wallet. Just a few clicks and you’re done!
How do I add my Rewards number to my online profile?
To add your new BIG Rewards card number to your online account, first you will need to log in to your profile. Once you are logged in, visit the Update BIG Rewards Card page. Enter your new number in the 'Update BIG Rewards Card' box. Click 'Save Card Number' and you’re all set! Your new BIG Rewards card has been added to your profile.
What if I don’t have my card when I’m in a Big Lots store?
No problem at all! If you have a digital or mobile wallet card on your smartphone, you can present it to the cashier at the register. Otherwise, a store associate can look up your BIG Rewards card at the register using your phone number, email address, first and last name, or a combination of these.
How will I get my rewards?
You will get notified about your available Rewards within 7-14 days, depending on date of purchase, via the email address associated with your account. The email address associated with the BIG Rewards account must be active and valid to receive Rewards notifications. Rewards emails are sent on Fridays so check your inbox! You earn a Rewards coupon with every three qualified purchases (with few exceptions). Rewards are earned only when you identify yourself as a Rewards member at checkout or are logged in to your account on BigLots.com. If you don't have your card, in most stores an associate can look up your account by using your email address or phone number.
How does the receipt lookup work?
Simply ask a store associate. They can access your receipt up to 60 days after your in-store purchase—a nice added benefit for Big Rewards members.
Can I access my Rewards another way?
Yes, you can log in to your account at BigLots.com/rewards and check to see if you have any offers available at any time. We must have a valid email address for you to receive notifications.
Pro tip! Bookmark the "My Big Rewards & Offers" page on your phone (iPhone or Android) for quick and easy access to all your Rewards and coupons when you shop. Just open any Big Lots email, click on “my account” at the bottom of the email, which will take you directly to your My Offers dashboard. Bookmark the page on your phone. Then just click the bookmark and you’ll have quick and direct access to all your offers, every time!
How do I opt out of Big Lots emails?
Can I choose the type of promotional emails that I get?
Yes. You can edit the email subscriptions you get by logging in to your account. Email subscription options include: Advance notice of weekly ads, exclusive deals, and BIG Rewards notifications. To receive your earned Rewards, be sure to subscribe to BIG Rewards Notifications. If you want all of our deals, coupons and free items, you’ll want to subscribe to all.
What if I lost my BIG Rewards card?
Simply log in to your account and follow the instructions to replace or add a card. You can choose to create a digital BIG Rewards card or sync your account with a physical card. If you want to keep a physical card, visit any Big Lots store for a replacement. You can link the new card by signing in to your account online, or by visiting any participating Big Lots retail store. Once your new Big Rewards card is activated, all previous cards will be deactivated.
What can I spend my Rewards on?
Almost everything! You can redeem Rewards coupons on most regular price, sale, and clearance items in stores or on BigLots.com. Rewards can also be used on new price holds, special orders, or new lease transactions. Please refer to your Reward for specifics.
Current exclusions are minimal and include rentals, deposits, charitable donations, milk, dairy products, eggs, gift cards, tax exempt products, existing price holds, special orders, or previously completed Lease transactions. Exclusions are subject to change.
I can’t remember my password, what do I do?
Simple. On the account login screen, enter your email address and then click the 'Forgot Password' link to create a new password.
Can I use more than one Reward in a transaction?
Yes, you’ve earned it! You can use multiple types of Rewards on the same in-store transaction. On BigLots.com you’re limited to 2 total Rewards discounts.
Please note when combining Rewards with other Rewards or coupons, percent-off Rewards/coupons are always applied first, so the 2nd discount will be applied to the reduced balance. For amount-off Rewards/coupons, each coupon scanned will reduce the balance available to be applied to the next offer. Minimum purchase requirements apply for each coupon or offer.
Why didn’t I get my Reward?
We try to make it easy for you. There could be a few reasons why you aren’t seeing a Reward on your account dashboard.
- Some Rewards are only valid for select members and are loaded directly to their BIG Rewards card and cannot be shared
- Some Rewards may appear on an affiliate shopping site such as RetailMeNot or Snip Snap. These Rewards may only be valid for intended recipients and are not shareable
- Most Rewards are valid for one-time use. The Reward may have already been redeemed. Once a Reward expires or has been redeemed, it is no longer visible on your account
- Your earned Reward may not be available yet. BIG Rewards members can see their earned Reward in their account 7-14 days after their third qualifying purchase. Members can earn one Reward per week
- The Reward may be expired. Earned Rewards are available for 17 days and expire on the coupon’s expiration date
- Some Rewards may be invitation-only or may be personalized to individual members based on previous purchase history
- For successful Reward redemption, BIG Rewards members must present a BIG Rewards card or registered email address during checkout in stores or be logged in to their account online at the time of the purchase or transaction

If I unsubscribe from all emails, will I still get special offers?
No. If you unsubscribe from all emails, you will no longer get any promotional emails from Big Lots, including BIG Rewards coupons and any special offers. Please note that even if you’ve opted out of marketing communications, we may still contact you for transactional purposes such as recall notices, customer service, questions related to your order, and shipping confirmations. Your opt-out is limited to the email address used and will not affect subsequent subscriptions.
Do price holds and special orders apply?
Yes, they do! Taking final delivery of your merchandise counts as another qualifying purchase.
How do I join?
It’s easy! And it takes less than a minute, and you’ll get a special welcome offer emailed to you within 3 days of signing up! Your name, zip code, and email address are all we need, but giving us your phone number makes lookup go faster, and if you share your birth month, a birthday surprise will come your way! In-store, just ask an associate to help you sign up, or you can join online at biglots.com/rewards.
Physical BIG Rewards Cards are available when you sign up in store. If you enroll online, you’ll get a digital membership card. Digital cardholders enjoy the same benefits, without the need for a physical card. A digital image of your BIG Rewards card number is available in your online account under Rewards Card Information.
To get credit for your qualifying purchase, present the image of your BIG Rewards card at time of purchase. You can display your card on a smartphone or print your card from your account page.
If you ever want to switch from a physical BIG Rewards card to a digital card, simply visit the My Account page and choose 'Create Digital Card.' Use the same email address and personal information, and the Rewards that you've earned will transfer to your new digital card.

Can I stack my offers?
Yes, you can! Except when you can’t. BIG Rewards members can stack their earned rewards with other Rewards and most other coupons/offers. For non-earned offers or store promotions, please refer to the specific offer’s terms and conditions.
How do I get the military discount?
First, join Big Rewards. Then just show your BIG Rewards card and your valid military or Veteran ID to the cashier and just like that you’ll save an extra 10% every time you shop.
