HOW DO YOU SECURE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WHEN I SUBMIT IT TO ONE OF YOUR WEBSITES?

We make great efforts to protect the personal information you submit to our website, including credit card information. We take cyber-security very seriously. We use modern technology and processes and are working with industry leading partners to ensure high security when you are using our site.

 

WHAT IS A CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION HOLD?

In order to reserve your items, Big Lots authorizes a hold of funds on the customer’s credit card at the time of purchase. Once your items have been picked up by your Delivery Pro, the hold will be released. If your order is not completed for some reason, the hold will also be released. Please note, this may take up to 3 days.

 

WHY WAS MY CREDIT CARD CHARGED MULTIPLE TIMES FOR ONE ORDER?

We charge your credit card when the items in your order have been processed and shipped. If you ordered multiple items, and they were shipped separately, you might see separate charges for each item. We will not charge you more than you authorized during checkout.

 

WHEN IS MY CREDIT CARD CHARGED?

Your credit card is charged once you complete your online order, and we have processed your shipment.

HOW CAN I PAY MY BILL?

There are several options to pay your bill: online at comenity.net/biglots, by phone at 888-566-4353 (TDD/TTY: 888-819-1918), or through the mail. Acceptable forms of payment include checks, money orders, or cashier’s checks in U.S. dollars. There may be a fee to process a phone payment.

 

CAN I VIEW AND PAY MY STATEMENTS ONLINE?

Yes, but before you can view or make a payment online, you will need to enroll in Account Center. Review your billing statement or visit comenity.net/biglots to find instructions and details on how to enroll.

 

CAN I USE MY BIG LOTS CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR ONLINE PURCHASES?

Yes, you can now use your Big Lots credit card on your biglots.com purchases! Use your card every day in store or online.

 

I USE A P.O.BOX, CAN I STILL APPLY?

The USA PATRIOT Act requires all credit applicants to provide a physical street address. Therefore, an application must be processed using a physical address. Should you need to update your address after your application is processed, you can contact the Big Lots Credit Card Customer Care Center for assistance at 888-566-4353 (TDD/TTY: 888-819-1918). You can also find this number printed on the back of your card.

 

CAN I MAKE PURCHASES BEFORE I RECIEVE THE NEW CARD IN THE MAIL?

As a new cardholder, you can make a purchase in-store using account lookup to complete your purchase. You will need to provide your government-issued photo ID, the last four digits of your SSN, month/day of your birth date, and your zip code.

 

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECIEVE MY CARD IN MAIL?

You will receive your card within 7-10 business days after approval.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PAYMENT REQUIRED?

CAN I PAY MY BIG LOTS CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT BALANCE BY USING MY PERSONAL ONLINE BANKING WEBSITE?

Yes. Your Big Lots Credit Card account number and payment address will be on your statement, allowing you to set up payments through your bank. Please be sure to allow 5 business days for the payment to post.

HOW DO I GET AN ACCOUNT WITH PAYPAL?

You can go to the website www.PayPal.com and click sign up and complete all required steps. You will also see the option to checkout as a guest with a credit or debit card if you click on the PayPal button but don’t have an account yet.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT PAYPAL IN-STORE?

Yes you can pay in store with QR in three steps: 1. Scan and tap the QR code icon in the PayPal app and select Scan if the seller presents their code 2. Confirm payment if prompted 3. Receive your payment confirmation and you're all set.

 

CAN I USE PAYPAL WITH ANOTHER PAYMENT METHOD IN THE SAME TRANSACTION?

You are not able to split PayPal with a second payment method. PayPal allows you to make payments using a variety of methods including: PayPal balance (available to PayPal Balance account holders), a linked bank account, linked debit or credit cards, and rewards balance.

 

HOW DO I USE PAYPAL AT CHECKOUT?

Click on the PayPal button. You can login to your account and select your payment preference, confirm your shipping address and click continue to complete checkout. If you don’t have an account you can click on the pay with debit or credit card under the PayPal account sign in option. From there please fill out your information and click continue.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR VENMO?

YTo be able to use Venmo, you must be in the United States, and have mobile device capable of accepting SMS messaging. You can create a Venmo account at venmo.com, or you can download our app from the App Store or Play Store depending on your device, and create your profile.

 

HOW DO I SET UP MY VENMO ACCOUNT TO MAKE PURCHASES USING QR CODES IN STORES?

Your Venmo account is already set up to start using QR codes in stores. Simply tap the Scan button at the bottom of the home screen of your app. You may need to follow the on-screen prompts to allow your camera to scan codes.
If you don’t see a “Show to Pay” QR code, please make sure you are using the most up-to-date version of the Venmo app.

 

HOW DO I USE VENMO QR CODES IN STORES?

The merchant will need to scan your in-store QR code, tap “Show to Pay” to present your QR code. If you need to change your payment method, you’ll need to do so before the merchant scans your code.

 

CAN I USE VENMO WITH ANOTHER PAYMENT METHOD IN THE SAME TRANSACTION IN-STORES

You are not able to split Venmo with a second payment method.

 

WHAT IS THE PROGRESSIVE LEASE-TO-OWN PROGRAM?

The Lease-to-Own Program from Progressive Leasing, LLC, can be a great way to get what you want right now. Progressive Leasing offers a simple program where you pay over the course of the agreed upon lease period. Once the item(s) has been paid in full, you own the product(s).

 

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENTS?

You must be 18 years old, have a valid Social Security Number or ITIN, routing and account numbers for an open and active checking account, and a credit or debit card.

 

IS THERE A PROCESSING FEE FOR THE PROGRESSIVE LEASING LEASE?

No, we do not charge an application fee or processing fee. Your initial payment will be withdrawn from your credit or debit card immediately after the lease is executed, but it is the first of your lease payments and is part of the total cost of the lease. If you are not approved, you will not be charged anything.

 

DO I HAVE THE OPTION OF BUYING THE PRODUCTS BEFORE MY 12 MONTH LEASE ENDS?

Yes. You can buy the leased merchandise at any time. The purchase option you utilize depends on when you buy the product from Progressive Leasing. The option with the lowest cost of leasing is the 90-Day Purchase Option: Standard agreement offers 12 months to ownership. 90-day purchase options cost more than the retailer's cash price (except 3-month option in CA).
